Here are some pictures of our new car. Ours is the white one. The yellow M3 is Joshua's friend Kyle's.

We did it
We traded in our 2007 Honda Fit. There wasn’t really anything wrong with it, Joshua just wanted something different. Today we were out running some errands and he saw a car he had to have. It’s bigger and has some fun things like a sunroof, heated seats, etc that the Fit doesn’t have. I told him if he could make it work so that we paid less per month than we do for the Fit, he could get it. They somehow worked it out without a down payment and we are now the proud owners of a white, 2001 BMW 330i sedan.

Armed Robbery
Click on the title for an article of what happened last night.
That Winger's is just a couple of blocks from the Applebee's I work at, so of course last night and tonight everyone was just a little freaked out. The managers are telling everyone who does Carside (that was me tonight) that if someone like that comes in, just open the till and stand back. They are also making sure everyone knows where the panic button is in the office and how to use it. Craziness.

Sicky boy
We took Mike to the doctor's today. The doctor didn't think he had the flu, but we told him to test for it anyway since Joshua's family has all had it this week. Sure enough, he has it. He also still has an ear infection in one ear. We got some more antibiotics (omnicef this time) for the ear infection, but unfortunately there's nothing we can do for the flu. He said it's only going to get worse, and all we can give him for it is Motrin. Poor kid.
He also gave me and Joshua prescriptions for Tamiflu so we can try and prevent catching the flu. The only problem was it's dang expensive since we don't have insurance for us. :S However, it's a lot better than missing lots of work AND being sick, so we paid for it and hope it works!
